Laser Kombat

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

It’s pretty straight forward here at Laser Kombat. Play and have fun! There are a couple of things that we get asked on a regular basis however:

How do I book? Each game of laser is 20 minutes long. We recommend you allocate 30 minutes per session which allows for a10 minutes briefing and instructions from your commander before the game. If you are playing multiple games this will allow for you to view your scores. Birthday parties are 90 minutes long.

No. The specially designed guns do not fire any real lasers and are harmless signals which communicate with the other guns and a main board.
Within the arena and at the main command area there are live team scores for you team. At the end of every game the Commander will show you the individual scores for each player.
We recommend that Laser Kombat is suitable for children aged 6 and above. Providing a child is able to wear the packs and hold the gun comfortably. There is no maximum age for players. We cater for families, corporate entertainment, stag & hen parties and more. For birthday parties we recommend that the birthday child is turning 7 as a minimum. This is to ensure the guests are at least 6.
Game play can involve intense physical and mental exertion. All players need a reasonable level of fitness, but you certainly don’t have to be an Olympic athlete to give it a go. Unfortunately we cannot give medical advice however we ask if you could contact us if you have asthma, epilepsy or any similar conditions so we can discuss if the arena environment is suitable for yourself.
We would not recommend anyone to play Laser Kombat whilst they are pregnant. Although there is no risk from the packs and guns the actual games within the arena involve quite alot of physical activity and there is a risk of being bumped into or tripping in the low lighting inside the playing arena.
Birthday parties include the children’s food however we have a cafe at which you can order a selection or hot and cold food from our menu which includes pizza and chips etc. You can also purchase hot drinks, cold drinks, slush drinks and other confectionary items such as crisps from the reception area. For corporate and large booking we recommend pre-booking platters.
No alcohol is permitted to be brought onto site. There is a fully licensed bar on site from which you can purchase alcohol after your laser games.
Where possible we will join your group with a group of similar age. However, there are often groups of mixed ages (when parents like to play with their children, or there are older siblings joining in etc).
We recommend that you do not play Laser Kombat if you are recovering from a injury or wearing a plaster cast.
Yes – We can customise vouchers to allow the bearer to a selection of games. Give us a call or come visit us onsite to purchase yours.
Yes - If you would like to make a private booking or have a group who would like to attend we can arrange for the venue to be open outside our normal times.
You can pay by cash or credit/debit card.
Depending on how many players we have at the time, you may be playing with other groups. It is also quite common for players of all ages to play together. It is possible to book exclusive use of the arena – speak to one of the team for further information.
We recommend sensible footwear and comfortable light clothing.
All birthday parties must be pre- booked however for any walk-ins you can just turn up and play although we cannot guarantee places unless you pre-book. You can book by phone or via email. We do not take provisional bookings. We ask all players to arrive at least 10 minutes before their start time.
